The mathematical models of the network elements, the architecture of the specialized database editor and GUI functions of the simulator were presented. Much attention was paid to the new computational functionality of the simulator in the field of gas quality and gas composition tracking, being a response to the gradual changes in the business model of gas distribution system operators.
