Indices for investment outlays and operating costs of surface water treatment plants

Keywords: investment outlays, operating costs, surface water treatment Abstract The objective of the article is to present unit indices for investment outlays and unit operating costs of surface water treatment plants. They were determined on the basis of empirical data for 2019 prices. The analysis carried out in the article shows that these indices decrease with an increase of plant capacity. The value of indices discussed in the article are indicative and may be used for economic analysis in the initial stages of designing water supply facilities.
